PGCC is always looking for board members and volunteers.  Contact us for more information and help a good cause for a few hours a month.  Board members must be residents of Potomac or Greenough, be available to attend monthly Board meetings, and provide volunteer support of center sponsored events.

Purpose:
The Community Center exists to
provide and encourage recreational, social, and educational programs for the people of Potomac and Greenough, and to meet the broader needs of our community - including serving as a disaster relief center.

History and Status:

The community center facility was built by the calloused hands of hardworking residents using local trees milled on site.  The walls, stacked logs roughly 8” in diameter, rest on a concrete slab foundation on grade and support on-site built trusses with a metal roof.  It contains a multi-purpose room, kitchen, restrooms, storage and 2 classrooms.

The PGCC was incorporated in 1978 upon completing building construction.  The organization received nonprofit status in 1995 and is guided by a set of by-laws.  Now 35 years old, the center continues to meet its mission and is a symbol of our community’s independence and spirit.

The PGCC became a member of the Montana Nonprofit Association (MNA) in 2013.
