This run will begin at the school, heading north for a 1/4 mile stretch between neighboring ranches, duck under Hwy 200, and then uphill into beautiful evergreen forests. As you climb the gradual (7%) grade, you may be lucky enough to see a mule deer, coyotes, bears or even a bobcat. On your final leg of this loop, you will be treated to breathtaking views, as you descend back into the Potomac Valley . A hydration & first aid station will be situated at the ½ way point. The $20.00 early registration fee (received by June 14th) includes a Bandit Run T-shirt, post race snacks and beverages, and free childcare.
