The Greenough Potomac Volunteer Fire Department 

GPVFD is a 100% volunteer fire department that provides both fire and medical services to the communities of Potomac and  Greenough. GPVFD's board members meet at fire staion #3 in Potomac the first Monday of every month at 7 :30 p.m. Contact: Cheif Ryan Hall for more information

The Potomac Valley 4-H Club 

Potomac 4-H provides a hands-on learning experience to develop citizenship, leadership, responsibility, hard     work, and life skills of our youth through experiential learning programs and positive development approach. 4-H meets at the community center the 2nd Sunday of every month at 4 p.m. Contact: Allyson Nelson or Tiffany Waletzko for more information.

                                             

                                                

The Blackfoot Home and Community Club 

This local women's group meets at 7:30pm on the second Wednesday of the month between September and May.  Meetings are held at the homes of members. The group sponsors activities at a local senior center, Highway Clean Up, fall Harvest Dinner, and annual Blood Drives with the American Red Cross among others.  New members are welcome!   The Annual Blackfoot River Clean Up takes place at Johnsrud Park picnic shelter from 9am to 5pm on the last  SATURDAY in JULY. Free BBQ for all volunteers!


 The Quilt Guild

This group of talented individuals helps keep sewing alive. The Quilt Guild group meets (more info on this group coming soon)  

Potomac Food Bank

Local volunteers ensure that all residents have access to healthy foods within our community for themselves and their families. Pick up needed items - or drop off your donation - during the last two Sundays of each month from 5-7pm at the Community Center.  Fresh fruits and vegetables are always appreciated!
